Client Background:

You Can Centre at RBWH will be the only public specialised adolescent and young adult cancer centre in Queensland.

The dedicated centre will provide youth aged 15-25 with a social haven away from hospital wards, where they relax and hang out with friends and family.

It will feature the latest technology, kitchen/dining, areas for study, yoga and consult rooms, an outdoor courtyard and a space for young people to access peer support.

Scope of Work:

SMI National was approached by Hutchies to create a Green Wall for the Sony You Can Centre.

After a few options were put forward a decision was made for SMI to design a one of a kind Moss Art feature in Spring Green, including the centres logo in Black Moss. The Art piece was finished off with a natural timber frame.
